Surviving Life with Undiagnosed ADD

Struggle A couple of weeks ago Bryan Hutchinson of ADDer World sent me a review copy of his new book One Boy's Struggle: A Memoir: Surviving Life with Undiagnosed ADD. It's a great book and as somebody who was not diagnosed with ADHD until I was an adult I really relate to a lot of what Bryan went through growing up. It's a great book and I highly recommend it.

Just a word of warning:  The book can bring up a lot of emotion while reading it. It can trigger some unpleasant memories. If you grew up struggling with undiagnosed ADHD like Bryan and I did, be prepared to stir up some of those memories while reading One Boy's Struggle: A Memoir: Surviving Life with Undiagnosed ADD.

Thank you for reading and reviewing, Tara.

Bryan

WOW...it's amazing how minds can think alive. Friday night I finally got up the nerve to share my story of how I survived and thrived for 48 years with undiagnosed ADD on my blog at http://blog.neatandsimple.com/2008/02/how-i-survived.html

I was nervous about how people might label me, but the support has been heartening. I finally decided that if people would judge me for it, they aren't people I want in my life anyway.

You have been such an inspiration - I LOVE your ADD clesses and hope to someday conduct a class or two for your site. But for now, I'm glad you are here and sharing your life with us.

All my best,
Ariane
