ADHD Wife Spits on Husband

So, I was taking a look at my blog stats today and somebody found my blog by searching for adhd wife spits on husband through Google. This is one of the most interesting search terms I've seen in quite some time. Somebody did find my blog last week searching for information about Michael Phelps and his penis size but I didn't think that was interesting enough for an entire blog post.

For the life of me I can't understand why the post Married to ADHD comes up #3 in Google for adhd wife spits on husband. There's no mention of the word spit in the actual blog entry or the comments. At least I can see how somebody found the blog searching for Michael Phelps' Penis Size. I've written a few different entries about Michael Phelps and also the posts Penis Size and ADHD & ADHD Penis.

I can only imagine what's going on in a marriage where a woman with ADHD is spitting on her husband! Or does the wife of a man with ADHD spit on her her husband...I guess I'll probably never know...but it makes me wonder and gives me something to write about on my blog today!!

Funny ADD Moments Contest

Terry Matlen and I officially launched the new Women with ADHD site this week. In celebration we are holding a Funny ADD Moments Contest. Terry and I know that having ADHD can be very challenging but being able to laugh at some of our ADD Moments can often be very helpful for Women with ADHD. Also, reading other people's ADD Moments can help us feel less alone and more connected.

So many Women with ADHD have already stated what a great feeling is to know they aren't the only one!

My ADHD Photo Album

Img_0008_new I'm really convinced that I have Adult ADHD and anybody who really knows me is well aware of my Adult ADHD traits. Sometimes I come across something from my past that REALLY helps me re-confirm the whole ADHD thing. This time it's an old photo album. It's not even the fact, that I'd been wondering where it was for months and it was right in front of me in the hall way the whole time.

It's what's inside of it that really shouts out Attention Deficit Disorder. There's absolutely no rhyme or reason to the order of the photos. Some are from high school, some college, all in totally weird order!!! Then there's a few random photos of me at 3 or 4 years old.Img_0009_new

Oh and I can't forget the fact that I really can't even turn the pages at the end because there are too many pages!I remember adding more pages to the photo album too. I went out a bought more pages!! Why didn't I just buy a whole new photo album?? Wouldn't most people buy a whole album??

Wow...the ADHD label really does explain a lot for me!!!

Got to Vote Twice...

Adhdvote I knew it was too good to be true today. I went to the correct school to vote this time and was excited because there was no line. I did have a minor glitch because I didn't know what precinct I lived in. After giving me a "you idiot" look a woman looked up my precinct for me and I went to the correct table and got my ballot.

I was a bit overwhelmed by the ballot because I had no clue who more than half of the names on there were. I had no idea about who the school committee and other local people were. But, I filled it in and went to check out. As I put my ballot in the machine I heard a beep!

I voted for too many people on one of those local races. I apologized and they told me not to worry because and I was not the only person who had done that today. I did have to bring my bad ballot to somebody and ask for a new one.

It's good thing I've learned understand and accept my Adult ADHD challenges. I was able to laugh at this experience. There was a time in my life when I would have been really embarrassed and probably even in tears.

Writers Block!

I don't know why but for some reason I have major writer's block this week. It's not because I have nothing to write about. I think it's because I have too many choices!! I think I'm also putting too much pressure on myself because I want to reach 500 blog posts by the end of 2008. I think I need to take some of the advice I give to my own ADHD Coaching Clients. I'm going to make a list of some of the idea I have and choose just 1 to start with.

Cheap and Easy

Yesterday I took a trip to Walmart for some personal items and household items. One of the things that I had on my list was socks. Do you know how many types of woman's socks Walmart carries? I don't exactly how many but it was enough to shut down my Adult ADHD brain.

While I was standing there totally overwhelmed I started to think that I never remembered buying socks being so hard before. Then I realized why! I used to just buy the least expensive or cheapest package. I used to think that I was just being cheap or frugal when I used to do this.

Now that I look back I wasn't really being cheap! I just couldn't make a decision and buying the least expensive item was one of my strategies! So for me Cheap is Easy!!!

Watching the Olympics

I was just laughing out loud at the Blog post that Jennifer Koretsky wrote about the Olympics. Boy I can really related to being bored by most of the Olympics. I had no intention of watching the Olympics at all this year. Part of it was because I do find most of the stuff boring! The other reason is that I had no idea when anything was on and couldn't sit through Water Polo or Volley Ball to find out when Swimming or Gymnastics were on.

Now that the Olympics are just about over I've learned that Swimming comes on around 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm and there are some Gymnastics in between. Yes, I have become a Michael Phelps fan and only part of that is because he has ADHD. I also think that the swimming competitions are short enough and exciting to enough to keep the attention of somebody like me with ADHD.

I had the equestrian (horse) stuff on for a bit one night. All I could do was wonder how they got the horses over to China. In that same night my husband had control of the remote control for a few minutes and put on Bull Riding. I was only partially paying attention and asked if it was the Olympics. He told me yes and I figured it must of been. After a few minutes he told me he was just kidding.

So I guess my point is that a lot of the Olympics can be boring for somebody with ADHD. All I know is that once I figured out when Michael Phelps was on that part has been exciting for me to watch!

Hearing Voices

I just got back from the ADDA Conference this evening and am so tired. I started off my morning by double checking to make sure I had my car/house keys before leaving the hotel for the airport. I found them in my bag the night before so I was just double checking.

OMG...They weren't there!! I start panicking and thought my husband who just left to catch an earlier flight packed them in his stuff by mistake. So, of course I called him on his cell all upset! He didn't have them either!!

With about 20 minutes before I was scheduled to catch the shuttle to airport I knew the only thing to do was to dump out everything I had already packed! Of course they were on the very bottom on my suitcase!

So as I said before and so tired from my trip and the ADDA Conference. I was just standing in my kitchen and was hearing strange voices. At first I thought it was the TV in the bedroom! It wasn't though! Then I was starting to think that I must be even more tired than I thought I was.

I finally realized that the sound was coming from my bag which was on the kitchen chair. I forgot to put my iPod in the lock mode and somehow it came on! I wasn't as tired as I thought! There voices weren't in my head they were coming from a podcast in my iPod!!!

Even though I may not be tired enough to be hearing voices I am still really tired and am off to bed!

Penis Size and ADHD

Yes, you read the title right! I'm writing about ADHD and Penis size!! Somebody actually found my blog by searching for ADHD and Penis Size. So, this may solve the mystery about why somebody was doing a search a while back for ADHD Penis. I also discovered that some men over at ADD Forums are claiming that ADHD medications like Adderall decrease Penis size.

So it got me wondering if there have been any actual studies about ADHD and Penis size or ADHD Medications and Penis size. It also got me wondering how one would go about collecting such data. Do they have some type of technician doing the actual measurements? That sounds like a stimulating job!

Hey, at least I didn't add a picture to this post. Believe me, it did cross my ADHD mind!
