FYI – September 14, 2005 is the second national ADD Awareness Day. So what does that mean? Well, the US congress passed a resolution officially declaring September 14th National AD/HD Awareness Day. Many Organizations like ADDA are planning events to help get the word out about ADD/ADHD. ADDA is also providing ideas for both individuals and groups to help spread the word.

I have just begun contacting local radio stations to let them know about ADD Awareness Day. I also plan on doing other things.

What are you going to do to help spread the word about ADD Awareness Day?

In my blog I have an article called “Alone With My Thoughts, Living with ADD” I have had ADD probably all my life. Some aspects are very benifitial and creats bursts of creativity. Other aspects are not so good. I am taking Stratera and it does seem to help.

My mind feels in a rush all the time even though there is no rush, i feel either in fast forward or totally exhausted! I wonder if i could get treatment as a local psychiatrist basically told me i was an intelligent person who needed stimulation and that their was nothing wrong with me, and sent me home.
