Reminder systems are very important for people with ADD. I know that sometimes one system isn’t enough for me. For example I have been using Microsoft Outlook for quite some time. After a while I just keep pressing snooze and pretty much ignore the reminders. Also there are times when I forget that I don’t have outlook open and then don’t get the reminder.
I just starting using my Yahoo Calendar again. I had forgotten how ADD-Friendly it is! It allows users to have reminders sent to 3 different places. Reminders can be sent to email addresses, yahoo messenger and cell phones. Unlike many other calendars, 2 different reminders times can be set too. This is great to help people with ADD with transitioning.
Yahoo Calendar is free and it can also be synced with Microsoft Outlook, most PDAs and most Hand Helds.
