The Sock Monster

Does the sock monster come visit your house?

She has been coming to mine for years! She steals all my socks while they are in the washer and dryer. Over the years my way of dealing with the sock monster has been to buy new socks. While unpacking from my move and doing a lot of laundry I was surprised to learn that the sock monster returned most of my socks. I guess she didn’t need them any more.

I have discovered a direct correlation between the number of socks that disappear and the number of new, unused, coathangers that appear in my closet. Coincidence? I don’t think so!

I have a sock monster in my house. It’s disguised as a small dog.
