I want to let you know about a book I just came across called The 100 Most Powerful Affirmations for ADHD. If you have heard me speak recently you may have heard me mention that affirmations can help improve the mindset of Adults with ADD / ADHD. Improving your mindset can increase productivity and help support you in other areas of your life too.

I use affirmations regularly in my life. I do admit that I felt weird and “fake” when I first began saying and writing them. The phrase “Fake it till you make it”, never really sat well with me and the concept didn’t click with me. I value Truth and Authenticity very highly in my own life and resisted the affirmations at first.

How could I say or write down the phrases “I am peaceful” or “I am organized” when I was stressed out, Overwhelmed, Disorganized and living in Complete Chaos? To tell you the truth, I don’t remember “How” I but I did get through the uneasy feeling and began saying and writing affirmations.  Yes, I have found them helpful and multiple areas of my own life have improved since I began using affirmations.

The 100 Most Powerful Affirmations for ADHD is a quick and easy read. Like the title says it offers 100 different affirmations related to ADHD.  It also has sections on how to set and achieve goals and how to actually use the affirmations in practical ways.

Another thing that’s great about this book is that it’s included in Amazon Kindle Unlimited and as an audio book through Audible. So, you can read or listen to The 100 Most Powerful Affirmations for ADHD  for free.

Leave a comment below and let me know what you think of the book. Also let me know how using affirmations has improved your mindset and your life.

Is it better to speak the affirmations out loud or silently?

Thank you for the insight. I will add it to my reading list. I have used positive affirmations and the power of auto suggestion on social anxiety as Well. This will certainly help the ADHD component of social anxiety that I had dealt with.
      Thanks again.
