Oh no!! Yet again I’ve neglected my blog! It’s been over 2 months since I wrote a blog post. I could beat myself up but I’m going to take my own advice from the podcast episode The Benefit of Falling Off Track with ADD / ADHD.

As I write this I’m asking myself questions:

What about my blogging is system is working for me?

Well, here we go. I don’t really have a system. This is a HUGE factor into why I haven’t been blogging. I really benefit from some sort of structure and system.

What type of blogging system has worked for me in the past?

Having a simple schedule and some outside motivation and accountability has worked well for me in the past.

What really motivates me to post to my blog on a regular basis?

It’s pretty much the same as what motivates me to to produce the ADHD Support Talk Radio Podcast. It’s about helping other people and providing regular resources and content. It’s about my passion for helping other people and connecting that with my heart and soul while writing.

What Action will I take?

  1. Write out a simple blogging schedule (schedule).
  2. Talk to my assistant about they schedule and ask her to follow up with me about it each week (accountability).
  3. Remind myself about the real reason that I write my blog during my blogging process. (real heart based motivation).

I feel more peaceful and motivated after this self-coaching exercise. I’m off now to write down my schedule and I will be talking to my assistant tomorrow. I’m also starting to get excited about writing my blog again!
